Dr. Mubeen G, holder of 6 patents in Pharmacology Dr Mubeen G, pharmaceutical scientist, distinguished academician and an avid researcher in analytical method developments, natural product-based drug analysis, innovative chromatographic techniques, AI-integrated analytical tools, and is committed to bridging traditional knowledge with cutting-edge innovation in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
Born & brought up in Bangalore, Karnataka. Early schooling was at Colonel Hill English School, Bangalore passing High school in 1983. I & II PUC at Jyoti Nivas College for Women, Bangalore. B Pharm in 1990 & M Pharm in 1992 at Government College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. Dr. Mubeen obtained her PhD at Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy, Bangalore in 2007 – Awarded from Bangalore University for the project work entitled “Synthesis and Pharmacological studies of Potential Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Agents”. Growing up in an educated and supportive family always inspired her to value professional education and hard work. With a strong interest in Healthcare and Medicine, she secured a government merit seat for B. Pharm in Bangalore and an MBBS seat at Gulbarga. She chose to pursue B. Pharm in Bangalore to follow her passion and build her career in the pharmaceutical field.
Dr. Mubeen authored over 35 International & National research publications. She has 6 patents, with contributions spanning drug development, pharmaceutical analysis, Quality Assurance and novel bio analytical methodologies. In order to stay updated with emerging scientific methods and technologies, she completed a CCE Proficiency Course with A+ grade on "Mass Spectroscopy in Proteomics and Genomics" from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2013. She won the prestigious Dr. P.D. Sethi Annual in 2013 for paper entitled “RP-HPLC method for Quantitation of Epinastine HCl in Eye drops. With a teaching experience spanning over three decades, Dr. Mubeen has guided more than 40 Postgraduate research projects and presently guiding two Ph.D. candidates. She is an active contributor to academic discussions, industry collaborations, and research initiatives and continues to inspire students, researchers, and professionals.
