Rising Beyond The Ceiling: State 100 Under Development

The RBTC 100 State level compendiums are envisaged to curate hundred women achievers from 15 individual states and Union Territories of the country. This exercise is lead by passionate state coordinators and teams through crowd-sourcing , research and review of award and other lists. The 2021 RBTC 100 Uttar Pradesh and the 2022 RBTC 100 Karnataka compendiums have been completed.

The following 15 states in India have the highest Muslim populations - Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Maharashtra, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand and Delhi. RBTC welcomes your nominations of inspiring Muslim women role models in any professional category in any of the states. Criteria for Nominating RBTC Inspiring Muslim Women of India in individual States

Women are national of India, adult (over 18 years of age)
Contemporary, are living today and contributing/contributed to Independent India
Identify themselves as Muslim and accept the RBTC 100 Honoree Inspiring Muslim Woman Recognition
Are born in the individual state, studied or worked for a significant period in the state, have an affiliated hometown /family in the state. Nominees can be located in the home state or outside the state.
Contribution can be in any of 14 RBTC categories and beyond: (1) Shattering Stereotypes in Uniform; (2) Achieving Academic Excellence (3) Inspirations from Politics (4) Administering Quality Education (5) Leadership in Administration/Governance (6) Professional in Medicine/ STEM (7) Legal Acumen (8) Creative Contributors to the Arts (9) Taking Entrepreneurship Forward (10) Making an Impact through Media (11) Change Makers in Social Development (12) Shining in Sports (13) Impassioned Authors and Poets (14) Strides in Corporate Sector (15) Any other new area of contribution.
The RBTC 1OO Women are from all districts of the state, not just the capital city, representing from across areas of contribution to progress of the country. Each state can define its categories through the State RBTC core committee.
Honorees to have significant achievements in their selected fields. Add to the profiles links to media news articles, awards and recognitions, publications, others as relevant to the contribution. Any global recognition in terms of scholarships, education /training /assignments abroad to be included as relevant.
